Our 180-day replacement guarantee and terms, in plain English
If a hire leaves or is let go for performance within their first 180 days, we search again at no fee, and until the hire starts you pay $0 on a Latin America search, or only the $500 upfront payment on a US search.
What triggers a replacement
The 180 days run from the hire's start date. Either of these within them starts a replacement search:
- The hire leaves
- The hire is let go for performance
What if the replacement does not last either?
- Each replacement gets a fresh 180 days from their own start date
- We keep searching until a hire passes the guarantee period
What the guarantee does not cover
- Layoffs, restructuring or role elimination
- A material change to the role's duties or pay
- An unpaid invoice
How to claim a replacement
- Tell us in writing within 5 business days of the departure
- We hold the kickoff call where we define the role
- First candidates arrive within 5 business days for Latin America roles or 10 business days for US roles
- You interview and hire the replacement

The fee also applies if you hire anyone we introduced within 12 months.
Questions about the guarantee
Is the guarantee a refund?
No. The guarantee is a replacement search at no fee, not a refund.
Does the guarantee period start when the offer is accepted?
No. The guarantee period starts on the hire's start date.
