What we don't check

  • References
  • Background checks
  • Identity verification

If your company needs these, run them on your side before or after the offer. We'd rather say so here than let you assume.

What a candidate brief looks like

Every shortlisted candidate comes with a one-page written brief, so you can decide who to interview in minutes. The brief beside this text is a fictional composite, not a real candidate.

The 5 business days10 business days timeline depends on these. We'll go through all four with you on the kickoff call.

  1. The role definitionDuties and must-have skills, agreed on the kickoff call.
  2. The salary rangeSo we only bring candidates you can afford.
  3. Your interviewersThe people who will meet candidates, and when they're free.
  4. Timely feedbackA clear yes or no on each candidate, so the search keeps moving.

Questions about the process

For pricing, the guarantee and hiring in each market, see the full FAQ.

All questions and answers
How soon will I see candidates?

For a Latin America role, you see the first vetted candidates within 5 business days of the kickoff call where we define the role; for a US role, within 10 business days.

What does the screening check?

Screening covers a skills and work-sample review for every candidate and, for Latin America candidates, an English assessment, spoken and written. It includes no reference, background or identity checks.

Who does the hire work for?

The hire works for you, in either market. For a Latin America hire: You hire the person directly, as a contractor or through an employer of record (EOR) you choose. We are not the employer, the payroll provider or the EOR.

What if the hire doesn't work out?

You get a replacement search at no fee, not a refund, when the hire leaves or is let go for performance within 180 days of the hire's start date. The guarantee does not cover layoffs, restructuring or role elimination; a material change to the role's duties or pay; an unpaid invoice.

Every search starts with a kickoff call.
